STANDISH, Maine – The 2014-15 Saint Joseph's College men's and women's swimming schedules have been announced. The Monks will compete in nine events this winter, starting with a head to head meet at Husson University on Saturday, November 1st.
The teams will host Elms College in the 2014 home opener on Saturday, November 8th and participate in the two-day 2014 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship at Simmons College, which begins on Saturday, December 6th.
Saint Joseph's opens the 2015 calendar with an event at Simmons College on Sunday, January 11th and the regular season comes to a close at "The Maine Event" at Bates College on Saturday, February 7th.
The New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA) Championship takes place Friday, February 13th through Sunday, February 15th at the University of Rhode Island.
Last winter, Saint Joseph's placed sixth in the GNAC Championship and 19th in the NEISDA under the watch of Head Coach Rick Hayes, who is about to begin his seventh season at the helm for the SJC swimming programs.
