Baillie Claims Second GNAC Weekly Honor

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors have been released and Saint Joseph's College freshman Rose Baillie (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) has been named as the GNAC Corvias Women's Swimming Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.

Baillie earns her second honor after posting another solid performance at Elms College last weekend, where she won the 50-Meter Breast (38.64) and 100-Meter Back (1:24.04) events and finished as the runner-up in the 50-Meter Free (30.77).

In three collegiate meets, Baillie has won six individual races with a pair of wins in the 50-Breast as well as single victories in the 50-Free, 100-Breast, and 100-Back events.

Saint Joseph's returns to action this Saturday when the Monks compete with Husson at University of New England at 1:00 PM.
