    STANDISH, ME – Saint Joseph’s College Athletic Director Brian Curtin announced today that Tom Dann, the head coach for the men’s and women’s cross country programs for the past 12 seasons and 14 years overall, has stepped down.

    CUMBERLAND, ME - The SJC Men's Cross Country team wrapped up the 2009 season with a 45th place finish, and 1398 team points, in the NCAA New England Regional, held at the Twin Brooks course on Saturday. Jeremy Allen '10 (Rutland, VT) toured the 8K course in 29:40.6 to lead all Monk runners in the event.

    WILLIAMSTOWN, MA - The St. Joe's Men's Cross Country team finished in 41st place with 1130 team points in the ECAC Championship, hosted by Williams College, on Saturday afternoon. Jeremy Allen '10 (Rutland, VT) led the way for the Monks with a 29:52.5 effort to place 135th individually.

    NASHUA, NH - The Saint Joseph's Men's Cross Country team placed sixth, with 165 points, in the GNAC Championship 8K at Rivier College on Saturday afternoon. Jeremy Allen '10 (Rutland, VT) led the Monks with a 12th place finish after touring the course in 29:19.84.

    STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College hosted the Runnin' Monks Invitational on Saturday, with the women placing fourth (126 points) and the men sixth (172) in the annual event. Katie Murphy '11 (Baileyville, ME) raced to a seventh place finish with a 22:05 effort and Jeremy Allen '10 (Rutland, VT) toured the 8K course in 29:48 to place 13th overall.
